Men's Trauma Healing Group

Transforming The Living Legacy of Trauma

An 8-week psychotherapy group for men seeking to understand the impact of trauma and build healthier ways of coping, relating and regulating emotions.

Participants Receive:

This group is appropriate for men with histories of childhood trauma, relational trauma, chronic stress, work-related trauma, or other adverse experiences who are ready to engage in recovery-oriented therapeutic work in a respectful group setting.

Cost: $800

Living by Your Values in Recovery

Applying acceptance and commitment therapy skills to expand your twelve step recovery tool kit

Designed for those in recovery who are curious about, returning to, or deepening their Twelve Step work – and for anyone drawn to the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework as a map for change.

Every calendar year, an eligible client can receive up to 22 hours of counselling performed by an eligible provider on a fee-for-service basis, such as, individual or group counselling. Additional hours in the same calendar year may be provided on a case-by-case basis. The psychotherapists within the Centre for Hope and Recovery are eligible providers within the NIHB program.
