Our Vision

The Centre for Hope and Recovery was founded on the belief that everyone can recover from the harmful consequences of trauma, addiction, and other life challenges.

The cornerstone of our philosophy is that therapists with lived experience and high clinical expertise provide the most therapeutic approach for clients.

No matter where you are in your recovery journey, we believe that psychotherapy can offer hope and healing.

Registered NIHB Service Provider

The Non-Insured Health Benefits Program is a national program that provides coverage to registered First Nations and recognized Inuit persons for mental health counselling. This benefit is intended to support the provision of immediate psychological and emotional care to individuals in significant distress to stabilize their condition, minimize potential trauma from an acute life event, and, as appropriate, transition them to other mental health supports.

Our Team

Our team of highly-trained specialists are available for in-person and virtual appointments during the week and in some cases, on evenings or weekends.

Healing from trauma and addiction isn’t an overnight process. It’s a journey that takes time, patience, and self-compassion. Asking for help is a courageous step.
